Chuck Grassley made news yesterday when he fired off a few shots at President Obama from his Twitter feed. The tweets were on health reform — a subject on which Grassley’s been playing a key role from his perch as the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee. That got us wondering what else Grassley’s tweeted on health reform. We found a few and reprinted them below.
We looked for a Twitter feed from Max Baucus, Grassley’s Democratic counterpart, but it appears he doesn’t have one. Those seeking a powerful Democrat’s online perspective on health reform might look at Peter Orszag’s blog (specifically, posts such as this one, this one and this one.)
Here’s a selection of Grassley tweets on health reform:

Here’s a White House spokesman’s response to the Grassley tweets from June 7, as reported by the AP:
“President Obama is gratified that the Senate is working hard to bring a health-reform bill to the floor on schedule. He looks forward to continuing his work with them upon his return from the commemoration of Allied heroism at D-Day.”
