Carl Paladino says he doesn’t regret making controversial remarks that have drawn fire in his race to become governor of New York and led some critics to say he’s unfit for office. In a wide-ranging interview with the Journal’s Jacob Gershman, the Republican candidate lashes out at his Democratic opponent, Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, and calls for large cuts to a state Medicaid program he claims is plagued by “waste, fraud and abuse.”
