The White House released details of President Obama’s proposed budget for the 2010 fiscal year today. The whole deal is online here; Here’s the proposed budget for Health and Human Services.
The WSJ is reporting that the budget includes a $300 million funding boost for the FDA, the largest in the agency’s history.
There are increases pretty much across the board, with a particularly large bump for the agency’s regulation of food — a topic that’s received much attention over the past year.
Here are a few of the key details from the proposed FDA budget.
