About
Hi i’m Orshe and this is my blog.
I have a keen interest in health issues, i have an Advanced Diploma in Public Safety (Emergency Management) and have been doing Road Crash Rescue, Flood Storm & Tempest, Cliff Rescue along with Domestic and Industrial Entrapment since 1997.
I also have a Trainer & Assessor’s certification which enables me to train people in rescue as well as assess them to become a fully qualified rescue operator. Last but not least, i’ve completed “Train the Trainer” which is another step that allows me to train people to train people (yeah sounds strange i know) but it comes down to the fact the people who train rescuers needs to be trained to become trainers themselves.
Anyhow, my main enjoyment is training people in the rescue modules titled “Flood and Inland Waterway Rescue Boat Operator” and “Vertical Mobility” the latter being cliff rescue. Driving boats in fast moving flood waters, and dangling off cliffs is fun.. Not many people would argue that!
So what’s this blog?
Well, i really made it for myself and here i mainly syndicate relevant snippets from all over the web including YouTube, Twitter, Yahoo, Wall Street Journal Health and a number of others and pack it all in to the one page. I don’t like Feed Readers, typically devoid of pictures, video etc so the Orshe blog is my personal feed reader on the web that anyone can read.
So thanks for stopping by, Orshe!
